Hawaii swept by San Diego | News, Sports, Jobs

The University of Hawaii women’s volleyball team hit just .030 and was swept by San Diego on Friday in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Toreros won the match 25-13, 25-17, 25-19 in front of 111 fans at the Huntsman Center.

Brooke Van Sickle led UH (2-3) with eight kills, but no one else had more than four.

Katie Lukes had 15 kills for USD (2-1), while Grace Frohling added 12.

The Toreros hit .272 as a team. Hawaii had 23 kills and 20 errors in 101 swings.

The Rainbow Wahine play Utah today before returning home for matches next Friday and Saturday against USC.
