Citra hops are known for having the most citrusy aroma in craft beers. This release pairs the king of citrus from the Pacific Northwest with a cousin from the extremely Pacific Southeast. The Nelson hop from New Zealand is a distant relative that has some amazingly unique traits. Nelson is a bit of an odd bird, having flavors that range from tropical fruit to fresh crushed gooseberries, to even sauvignon blanc wine grapes. These hops might be an ocean apart but they get along great together and draw off each other’s strengths.
