North Park San Diego to Glow in Support of Small Businesses – NBC 7 San Diego

North Park business owners and locals unite Thursday night to help small businesses in San Diego’s epidemic district continue to recover from pandemic effects, as well as all communities, with glowing cell phones. To do.

At sunset, around 7:45 pm, North Park Main Street We will be hosting a ceremony called “Lights on North Park” to support 1,000 restaurants, retailers and other small businesses in the area.The group will meet in the center of North Park – 30:00^th Just a short walk from the North Park sign, Street and University Avenue – and raise their illuminated cell phones at a show of solidarity.

Organizers will also hand out ribbons as a symbol of the community’s continued support for the small businesses that build North Park.

The neighborhood of San Diego’s uptown area was a hub for craft beer, bustling restaurants, and small local retailers.

And while the coronavirus pandemic has certainly hit the community, we hope that within the next few months, about 12 new SMEs will open there, facilitating the recovery process. New additions include French restaurants Patisserie Melanie, Rouleur Brewing and Chop Suey Social Club.

Thursday’s celebration begins shortly after the weekly North Park Farmers Market and includes live art and music. Brings the atmosphere of a real little event (remember even what it is?).
