PepsiCo Beverages North America’s West Division is opening a new state-of-the-art warehouse and distribution center in Lakeside, Calif. The nearly 125,000-square-foot warehouse features will create further job opportunities in San Diego County.
“For nearly 60 years, PepsiCo has been a staple in the San Diego community, and we’re extremely proud to continue growing in the area that we’ve called home for so long,” said Johannes Evenblij, president of PBNA’s West Division. “At PBNA, we prioritize our customers, consumers, communities and the environment and this new facility will help us positively impact all parties with more efficient and green systems all while creating more jobs during a time when it’s needed the most.”
With 47 delivery trucks, one of the largest fleets in the area, the new warehouse and distribution center has the capacity to service PBNA’s customers across Southern California. The new facility opening will create jobs in the roles of merchandising, delivery, warehouse, equipment delivery, equipment technicians, fleet mechanics, administrative and sales.
