San Diego County Reports 76 COVID-19 Cases, No Deaths, With Almost 400K Vaccine Doses On Hand

Out of 6,686 test results reported in the last day, 1% returned positive, as the 14-day rolling average ticked down to 1.1%.

Hospitalizations fell to 120, while the number of patients in need of intensive care slipped to 36.

The county also reported two community outbreaks Sunday for a total of 16 in the past seven days linked to 97 cases.

Meanwhile, the county is nearing 68% of residents who have received at least one vaccine dose. That’s almost 1.9 million people out of the target population of 2.8 million.

Officials have almost 400,000 doses on hand to administer.

Since the pandemic began, there have been 279,689 cases of coronavirus in San Diego County. The death toll remained at 3,751.
