The Disney Store in San Diego-National City’s Westfield Plaza Bonita and North County’s Carlsbad Premium Outlets will close next month, the outlet website indicates.
Both stores are scheduled to close on or before September 15, according to a post on the retail store’s website. The closure is part of the company’s March move to close dozens of locations in North America by the end of the year to focus more on its online shopping business.
Disney Outlets, a shop in Las Americas, San Isidro, is not listed in the closure.
Other California locations scheduled to close are Concord, Fresno, Glendale, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, among others.
