The San Diego County Library and San Marcos Unified School District have joined to increase students’ access to e-books and digital audiobooks by combining their digital reading resources in the Sora app. This partnership is led by OverDrive, a digital reading platform serving the library and the district, and provides safe access to thousands of age-appropriate titles for students. Through Sora, students can borrow from the school’s collection of titles as well as from the San Diego County Library’s juvenile and young-adult digital collection. San Marcos Unified students can download the Sora app through the Apple Store and Google Play Store, and on Chromebooks that support the Google Play Store. It is also available at soraapp.com on any computer.
