The Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa to Reopen

The Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa is officially reopening to the public on April 5 after shuttering its doors almost a year ago due to COVID-19.

The 50+ acre complex will offer all 208 guest rooms and suites. To commemorate the re-opening, The Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa is offering two packages: Pedal to the Petals, through which overnight guests will receive a one-hour complimentary bike rental per day which can be used to ride to the Flower Fields, which is 1.5 miles from the hotel lobby. Celebration Package includes a $50 resort credit per night, drink vouchers for two and a choice of early check-in or late check-out.

“For months, we’ve been thoughtfully preparing for this moment with the health and wellbeing of our guests and staff top-of-mind,” said Chris Draper, managing director of the Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa. With miles of ocean views and 50+ acres to explore, the Westin in the perfect place to re-engage with friends and family in safety and style. From intimate weddings or to simply escape the four walls where you’ve been quarantining, we’re ready and waiting to host you for fun and relaxation.”

Guests can enjoy complimentary shuttle service within a five-mile radius of the resort and hop on and off the Ride the Tide open-air beach trolley (currently running Friday through Sunday only until Memorial Day weekend) with shuttle service to Tamarack Beach. Scenic hiking, biking and running trails can easily be accessed directly from the resort. Overnight guests can enjoy the property’s onsite bike rentals; one hour free is included in the overnight resort fee.
