Man stabbed in chest during argument in Grantville

San Diego police are investigating after a 33-year-old man was stabbed during an argument in the Grantville neighborhood early Friday morning.

The attack happened about 3:20 a.m. on San Diego Mission Road east of Interstate 15, according to Officer Tony Martinez.

The victim’s family took him to the hospital. Martinez said his wounds are not considered to be life-threatening.

Martinez said the assailant was a man in his 30s, who had a large build and wore black clothes during the attack.
